So, I'm redoing my kitchen and call Gavic (now Benjamin Franklin) to get an estimate for moving a sink drain, hooking up a new dishwasher, refrig and stove. Dude shows up and after an hour of poking around, gives me the following estimate: $900 for moving the drain (pricey), $600 for plumbing the already-installed sink (ahhh... what?) $300 for hooking up the dishwasher (what a sec here...) $176 for hooking up the fridge -- one small water line for ice (c'mon...) and, the coup de grais $479 for hooking up the range -- one gas line with a valve and coupling already at the stove (get the heck out of my house!!)\r
