I walked into Pat Painter's recently and was greeted by a really tall, cute, sweet man who asked how he could help me. I was trying to be strong, but when the words came out, "I'm about to start chemotherapy," so did the tears! Ronn put his big strong arms around me and held me while I cried for several minutes, all the while telling me, "Honey, you came to the right place... everything will be all right, and we're gonna fix you up so beautiful"..... AND HE DID!! He showed me tons of choices in wigs and told me that when my hair started falling out, to come and let him shave it. So that's what I did..... my friends brought champagne and roses and cameras and Bonnie and Ronn made it a really fun evening. We all tried on different wigs, then shaved me to a mohawk and took hilarious pictures, then off it all went. My head didn't look so bad - no conehead look, thank God! Then he fixed me up with a wig that is really close to what my hair looked like before. That gives some le
