Called on a Tuesday morning to inquire about cost & turnaround for laptop jack repair. I was quoted $75 with a 1-day turn. 2-3 days, if a part is needed. Satisfied with these terms, I dropped off the laptop same day & requested a phone call update about the timeframe. I didn't hear anything until I called Thursday afternoon. I was then told that the part was ordered & the laptop should be ready on Friday or Saturday. On Saturday, I was told that the laptop would be ready on Monday. I didn't hear anything until I called again the following Wednesday afternoon. I was then told that the part was coming from Thailand but should arrive that day. I visited in-person on Thursday & was told they weren't quite sure why the part hadn't come in but that they were tracking the order and would follow up.
