I don't know anything about how Bellissima ""used"" to be or what it's like to have my hair done there - I'm just a guy who thought they did a great job on my wife's hair.
My wife used to go to Bellissima when we lived in San Rafael. Since we moved to Sebastopol she's tried a lot of different salons closer to home. I've often felt ""so-so"" about the results - I don't like it when they shorten it too much or choose an unnatural looking color.
My wife was recently in San Rafael and they squeezed her in for an appointment and I was really happy with how she looked when she got home - very natural and cute! She looked ten years younger, really (we've been married 25 years.)
I rarely feel as enthusiastic about her more recent salon results and the only reason I'm writing this review is because I wanted to send a thank you to the salon so I was looking up the address on Google and found this review page. I never write reviews but the other one on the page was so bad I wanted to write this one because, to my mind, the most important thing is the results. If they are often overbooked it must be because people like it - duh!
Anyway, thank you Bellissima!
Pros: Really good coloring and cut.
