The first time you visit this place, you'll be a little leery -- it looks like they opened this bare-bones shop in the early '60s or thereabouts and haven't made any changes to the decor since. Instead of wasting time and money on making the place look spiffy, though, they focused their efforts on making the sandwiches delicious. The hoagies and cheesesteaks are as good as you'll find anywhere, city or 'burbs. This is the type of longstanding neighborhood gem that doesn't promote itself, but has long-lasting success through word-of-mouth. Believe that word -- your mouth will thank you.
Pros: Delicious Hoagies and Cheesesteaks
Cons: Looks Like a Dump
