We were lucky enough to grab a seat at the bar where James was able to take care of us. James explained the menu and the focus. \r

Parallel 17 is not looking to compete with ""Federal Pho"" as he put it but acknowledge the French influence that came from almost 150 years of occupation. He walked us through the menu and opened our eyes....from the pork spring rolls(which I've been eating wrong for most of my life...you make tasty little lettuce wraps!) to the Duck Three Ways and Pho(I had to have some!) James didn't steer us wrong. We will be back soon to check out what else Chef Mary Nguyen is serving. We can't wait!
