While the sales guy was at home giving me a price quote, he said he would give 10 year extended warranty on parts and labor with the manufacturer. However, after the installation was over, ESmith said that they would only give 10 year labor warranty with ESmith (and not Carrier) and that I had to maintain a service contract with some one in order to qualify for the warranty. That's cheap sales tactics to first rope in the customer and then shove in service contracts and other items that the customer didn't sign up for!!
Cons: Bad ethics and bad sales tactics
