My family and I went to Outback Steakhouse in Temecula for dinner on a Thursday around 5:00pm. We have been to one in Poway in the past. The Temecula Outback had some customers with one big group who were already seated. Most of the booths were empty. The restaurant was very dark for a sunny day outside and the whole room was dingy and outdated. The hostess took about 8 minutes of waiting to acknowledge us. She then took another 5+ minutes to decide where to seat us. She took us to the booth in the darkest section of the restaurant next to the bathrooms as we walked past 4 empty booths! I told her why can't we sit at the empty booth next to the window and she told us that we have to wait some more if we want to sit there eventhough it was empty and had a waitress helping the large group right next to the booth we wanted to sit. So we waited another 7 or 8 minutes until they seated us at the booth I had requested. The hostess did not give us any menus and the table was not set. Finally after another 11 minutes of waiting, a waitress came over and asked us if we were ready to order!! We didn't even have a menu yet! She brought everything needed and took our orders. The food was extremely greasy compared to the Outback in Poway and the service was horrible. Don't waste your money.
