Have been in Galveston since 7 years and am a faculty at UTMB. This is the first time I have felt racism in America and that too at Sunflower bakery. Had been there with a friend of different color and we ate, payed the bill and were just finishing our coffee when another waitress than the one who had served us comes over that you need to leave since we need the table while there were other tables around which were empty. We said that is it because we are done and she was like ""no we just need the table and you need to leave"". We even asked that do you want it for paying customers to that she replied yes. So we asked that we will then order something so bring the menu to which she showed us a face and then still kept on saying we need to leave and how long do we plan to stay here. This I feel was outrageous and this is something which has really disappointed me. If anyone who reads this, especially the community of UTMB, this place needs to be banned from our events and our business.
Pros: So so food
Cons: Free racism served
