In the first few days I moved to California, some friends took us to A'float Sushi and I was instantly hooked. It's a really fun place to take people who've never had the pleasure of picking delicious sushi dishes off of cool little boats floating around a table moat... As well as revisit the place again and again. The portions are great per dish because you can try a lot of different kinds of sushi without going broke, and for what they give you (and the great quality of the food they give), it's very reasonably priced. And if there's something you want that isn't in one of the boats, just let the chef or the waitress know and they'll bring it out to you. A couple times I've gone, the service was a little slow to get drinks, but the pros heavily outweigh the cons.
Pros: Delicious sushi, unique atmosphere, friendly staff
Cons: Sometimes the service can be a little slow.
