I have been a regular here for over 20 years. Next to Happy China, this is my favorite place. My 19 year old is probably 75% Monterrey because we ate there 3 times a week for about 7 months...LOL.. What everyone says is true, try the Monterrey dip and the Fajitas for two-- but bring about 6 and still get a take home box. Best texas margaritas ever-by the pitcher you can afford, in a fishbowl glass or even in a regular size! A lot of the same staff for all these years too.
Pros: great service, drinks, food, & prices
Cons: some booths are lumpy and sinky
