My Fiance & I were so excited to have a new place in town that I broke my cardinal rule--NEVER go to a restaurant that's been open less than a year as it generally takes that long to work the kinks out. Not so at Marathon--it's apparent that they did their homework prior to opening. The food is fresh and consistent. The Chef and menu are creative (TRY THE CALAMARI if you like ""heat""), and the wait staff is friendly and well-educated on the menu (though if there's something they're not sure of, they'll find out). The entire staff at Marathon makes you feel like THEY want to be there which gives the place a fantastic vibe. We are so excited to have a local but GREAT restaurant so close to home! Thanks Marathon!
Pros: Wait staff, calamari, atmosphere.....
Cons: Easily fixed, but getting the check before finishing dinner
