My 3-year-old is in his second year at Kenwood and he loves it, as do I.
The school director and her staff understand the importance of communicating frequently with parents. We receive weekly updates about the activities our children are involved in, what kinds of foods they are trying during snack time and other little interesting tidbits. At the end of the day, teachers often offer parents little reports about how our children napped or how they were feeling during the day.
The teachers are well-educated and treat their students with respect. They use a loving and understanding, yet effective approach to discpline in the classic Montessori style.
Kenwood's bilingual program (Spanish/English), which is seamlessly integrated into the child's day, is excellent.
The school and its staff have become like family to us.
