We love Phillip's on Crenshaw and Woodys on Slauson but for all around atmosphere, service, music and damn good BBQ we head over the hill to Robin's. The meat is just so damn good. It's really gone up several notches since they build that smokehouse in the back lot. The mgr gave us a tour and it's awesome. No propane, no gas just pure apple & oak wood for smoking. The garbage can combo is our fav for sampling everything they do. The music selection is vintage oldies from the 60's, the place looks like a musuem for beer signs and the service has always been top notch. Worth the 18 mile drive.
