We purchased a 1800 sq ft Colonial about 5 years ago from CTValley. Overall, it has been a good experience. We had a couple of windows break their seal over the past and they came out within a couple of weeks(they had to order the replacement glass) fixing the problem with professionalism. They have stood behind their guarantees.
If you don't like the floor plans that they offer, you can work with them for any changes that you want to make.
Things I would do differently: I would not include the bathroom fixtures, kitchen cabinets, flooring or the lights. The house would be priced lower(you are credited for not purchasing these items). Even though the quality for the most part(good kitchen cabinets, cheap on the faucets, toilet seats, rugs so-so), I think you could do better using the money towards buying these items yourself.
The house is structurally sound and I would do business with them again. Since it has been 5 years, I would want to check out any recent work that they
