Go and see Dr. Mauro at Southgate if anything is wrong with your pet. Our pugs have been patients of Dr. Mauro's for about 10 years now and she takes excellent care of them. She has been able to diagnose problems that other vets have given up on. We first found her with our first pug, Frankie, when he was less than a year old and another vet we were using charged us endless amounts of money and constant testing to diagnose a common puppy issue......one visit to Dr. Mauro - she stated "whipworm", gave us medication and the problem was gone! We have gone to her ever since. We have to pass several other animal hospitals to get to Southgate, but I would never go to anyone else. She has been there for us in emergencies and happy events and when we adopted our pugs Brodie and Una last year, she was the first person they visited for a checkup- the day after they came home with us. She can talk really fast and has tons of energy.........if that intimidates you, suck it up! Don't deny y
