I took my car in to Maaco, after I had received three quotes elsewhere, and was surprise by the immense difference in pricing. All the quotes I had received were for $500, plus but theirs was for under $300, so they said. After seeing the quote and asking for confirmation of the price by the franchise owner, I immediately paid upfront. I thought I had snagged a good deal, but the next day i receive a phone call stating that, I still owed $301 on top of $294, I had payed. I was furious, they lied to me...they claimed that they had forgotten to add the parts, but how is that my fault, I had asked for confirmation from the owner and she even added that they have cheap labor, so they can afford to charge less. I had received a quote with the $294-total, but they refused to stick to the quote. They expected me to pay for their mistake, they were completely unreasonable, and refuse to admit their mistake. DON'T GO TO MERCED, MACCO- They have HIDDEN COST in their quotes!!!
Pros: Good Liars!!!
Cons: Draw you in with Hidden Costs.
