The fact that unemployed women with children could find a place to stay temporarily without intrusive questioning, red tape, or judgement. The oganization is dedicated to helping the parent and child'children with whatever services needed to get them back on the right track. I volunteered at this agency at its beginning, but was looking for permanent employment at the same time. Once employed, i had to leave. But if funding had been available for a position for me, i would love to have stayed.
