Horrible service. I went for an inspection sticker this morning and was told I failed due to a fog light which had just gone out. Since Maine does Safety inspections I asked how this affects the safety of my car in reference to driving on the road. They just kept telling me 'Its the Law'. Well, I looked up 'the Law' and found no such thing. What if a car does not have fog lights? Do they fail automatically for not having them? My headlights and other lights are in fine working order. Had they dealt with the situation in a nice way, maybe even given me the opportunity to fix it, that would have been fine. But I got rude service the entire time, spoke to like I am a complete idiot, and treated like trash. The owner swore at me and acted like he could care less about my business. If you are looking for a place to treat you with respect, don't go here. It was an absolute waste of time. I even noted to him, which was on his records, that he passed me the last time with the same issues and he just said 'well that was then and this is now'. Okay, it's nice to know that you get to make up when you can and can't pass people. I am sure the laws haven't changed to include a fog light inclusion since my last sticker. In fact, I know nothing has changed since I check the State of Maine's website before writing this review. If you want horrible and disrespectful service then this is the place to get it. My father has had issues with this place as well but I thought I would give them another shot. I would rather drive 50 miles out of my way if I had to just to avoid getting my sticker here ever again-or any other service for that matter. They have ignorant, rude, and obnoxious customer service-the worst I have experienced in my life. And too boot, he didn't even fill out the slip correctly, everything was hand written, not typed into the computer and it even said 'PASS' in the upper corner of my slip which underneath he wrote in 'FAIL'. Very odd to me. Big mistake on his part since I do not take being treated like trash very kindly. When someone comes into your business to spend their hard earned money, you should give them the respect they deserve!!!! I don't even care that I failed either, its not the point. It's the way I was treated, that I passed with the same conditions last year, that I wasn't given a properly typed up report and that I was sworn at. That to me equals disgusting service! Pros: None at all! Cons: Couldn't be worse-read details please. more
