I have been going to Mexicali for years however I stopped by the other day and they have a new Happy Hour which is better than any I have been to in Los Angeles and it available in the afternoon and during late night as well. We were there after 11pm and could not figure out why the drink prices were so low, then the server told me about the Happy Hour. All their house Margaritas and beers are super cheap.\r

The menu is loaded with small appetizers that are only $3 or so. I got to taste things I would never order because their normal portions are so huge. It is really great for lat night dining as well because you know you should not be eating that much before hitting the sack which is what I have to do after a couple of late night Margaritas.\r

Although I love Mexicali, I really love the new Happy Hour and I will definitel be going back.
