Georgia has always been a place of heartache for pizza lover transplants from the northeast. Having myself been transplanted for over 16 years, I can count on one hand the number of places that I found to be an accurate reproduction of our Italian fast-food staple, with fingers to spare.
You can't imagine my shock to find this place tucked away in a Flowery Branch shopping center. While I can only speak to the pizza and calamari, both were genuine examples. The crust was actually done well... that is to say well-done, as it should be. The calamari was fresh and fried in a proper batter: which should be light and crisp, not the breaded mess that so many are used to getting in these parts.
The rest of the menu looks very promising and we'll be back to explore deeper cuts of their selection. The service was friendly and their timing clock-work perfect.
Pros: Honest to goodness pizza. Nothing contrived.
