Do not recommend Victor Pascal 10/16/2009

I went to Victor Pascal for shirts and suits. My experience was an ordeal, and I do not recommend this establishment. The shirts I ordered were not cut to the measurements they took. When the shirts came back and I tried them on, they were too baggy and jutted out on the left side. Victor said that's normal, as the shirts need to be laundered three to four times to shrink to the appropriate size. After having them laundered three times, I took the shirts back. Originally, he wanted to alter the shirts. When I voiced my concern, he measured the shirts and discovered they were not cut according to the measurements taken. I paid over $150 per shirt. The suits were an even worse ordeal. Victor Pascal sells ""end of bolt"" fabrics at a discount. I selected two suit fabrics, one from Holland and Sherry and another from Dormeuil. Features I paid for like pick stitching were not delivered. The suit buttons were a normal plastic. The jackets were cut wrong, leaving me with the option of suit jackets that were too loose on my upper body or skin tight on the part of my back by my underarms. The pants jutted off my thighs and were too tight on my calves (think johdpurs). Victor became very defensive after I brought back my shirts and was critical of the suits. Victor gave me ultimatums on the tailoring of the suits. When I became adamant about him delivering acceptable suits -- I paid around $2,500 for each suit -- Victor's business partner and wife, Ann, called me disrespectful and rude. After enduring three fittings and sloppy workmanship, I was insulted. In the end, I did not accept the shirts or suits and was fortunate to get back my deposit (around half of the cost of the suits and shirts). When it comes to Victor Pascal, buyer beware! more
