I joined Gold's in May, 2009. I cancelled within the 48 hours as required by North Carolina law. Even though I cancelled my membership, I kept being billed for monthly dues. I have filed several complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the NC Attorney General's office. I was told by the owners several months ago that this issue was resolved. Since they were continuing to bill my account, I even had to have my debit card cancelled. Here it is November and I just received a threatening letter from the billing company.
