Birrieria De La Torre used to be a small Mexican food joint. Recently, the original spot was converted in a full kitchen and the building next door was merged to expand the restaurant.
The service is excellent here. All the waitresses are very attentive and friendly. The food is top-notch and their specialty is goat stew. I had the Consome De Birria (Goat Stew consomm?) which was superb. My friend had the Carne En Su Jugo (meat stew) and it was also a great signature dish. The tortillas are even hand-made, so that is a nice plus.
For drinks, I had a prepared Sidral which I strongly recommend. Overall, the experience here is unique and well worth trying. I'm very glad they expanded to a full service restaurant. I will be coming here more often.
