I've been a patient for several years, and I've had good experiences under Dr. Kamaikis's care. He's done five crowns and a couple of filling replacements for me. I had complications after one of these procedures, with pain following a crown installation, but he was able to fix that with adjustments and a deep cleaning over the course of two follow-up visits (on his dime).
His personality is calm and friendly. Compared to some previous dentists I've had, his treatment style tends to err on the side of caution. For example, if a tooth has a particularly large filling that's nearing the end of its effective life, I've found that he's more likely to recommend a crown than a replacement filling. And if things look sketchy below the gumline, he may send you to the endodontist right away rather than taking a watch-and-see approach. I happen to like this aspect of his treatment style, but it's worth pointing out because different people have different preferences.
I've been impressed with some of the people-related choices he's made. His office staff are great, as others have mentioned, and he's hired some quite good hygenists over the years. And when I needed a root canal treatment, I was very happy with the endo he chose to recommend, in terms of both technical skill and personality.
