I recently had a problem with a port connection on my laptop - took it to Dave's for repair. After waiting 3 weeks, I paid him more than $100 and when I got home, I realized that the port was not really completely repaired - then I tried to connect to the internet and my wireless connection was not working. I called Dave and he said it could not have been anything that they did. So I called Joe at Santa Cruz Computers and he immediately came to my home to figure out what the problem was. It turned out that the Dave's tech had disconnected my wireless antenna and failed to reconnect it. So I paid Joe and then called Dave seeking reimbursement of the money I had paid to correct his error. He basically told me to pound sand - even though it was his mistake, he refused to pay me back any portion of the funds I expended to fix it.
Pros: Used to be good.
Cons: Poor quality service and unreasonable delay
