I have a rental property from Ogburn and I would just like to say that it has been the worst experience. First of all, they panted (multiple times) over all of the windows. None of them no longer open. I cannot imagine how many coats of paint that would take. Second of all, the house had multiple problems with plumbing, heating, broken widow pains, broken door knobs, busted security system wall units, and many other little things. We knew this starting out. Ogburn reassured us that, just like in the lease, if we turned in a work order of all of the problems 10 days after our move in, that they would be fixed. For a whole month of calling they never fixed anything or even called us back to say they were working on it. Finally, they decided to fix the plumbing which required putting a massive hole in our stair well. It's been two weeks since it has been fixed and but they still have had anyone come back to fix it. I over heard the property manager saying to the workers something to the effect of "Well, now we only have the first months rent so whatever we can fix under that money we will do." How ridiculous! It's getting into fall now, two months after we turned in the work order, and nothing else has been fixed. I do not harass them about these things every day. I call about once a week and I get the SAME answer every time. Ogburn does not allow renters to put in work orders after that first 10 day window. A lady at the front desk puts them in for you. And yet, every time I call about these problems, the SAME lady sounds as if she has never heard of the problem. She even asks the same questions about it every time. Her answer? "I will let my manager know. We will get working on that for you." NOT TRUE.
Pros: Hardwood floors, big yard
Cons: No communication, bad experience
