I had attended a number of corporate events at the Croation Lodge and never even knew that the restaurant was open to the public. I thought you had to have a membership until one of my coworkers raved about the place. \r

So, I went with a friend and had the best meal and wine I've had in years! The sassy waitress we had spoke Croatian and seemed to work as a team with the other 2 there to be sure our coffee & water was always full. \r

I've been back a number of times since (its only 5 min from my house!) and the food has ALWAYS been excellent, the service good, and the price is amazing. But save room for desert. I can't remember what they are called, but the hazelnut crepe-things are to die for! I've never been able to eat the whole thing myself - get one order and share it!\r

The crowd leans toward the older side and its not a place where you see a lot of kids. The ambience is slightly romantic with darker lighting and dark burgundy furnishings. You step up about 4 small
