I went with my friend to the Here(hadn't been in over a year) The music was the bomb(as usual), the dancers were awesome(something new) and the crowd was mixed(which I love).
When the dancers stopped dancing they began to bartend. My friend and I waited at the counter for our drinks(which was to be expected, duh, there's a crowd and I'm very patient) However after being passed over too many times my friend told the girl we had been waiting awhile. The bartender for whatever reason was annoyed with us and told us we were standing in the middle of (I guess an imaginary divider line). I was clueless to what she meant but she reluctantly made us our drinks. I held my twenty bill out for her to take, which she did after serving and taking money from another patron. Before leaving the counter my friend asked if she could have a lemon with her drink and the bartender THREW the lemon at us and it landed on the counter. I was LIVID, INFURIATED AND SHOCKED. I felt like I had been violated in front of a crowd of people, for what. I still don't understand why she was bent. We were waiting not irately or obnoxiously. I told the manager, Andrew, and he didn't seem to believe us. He spoke with the girl and she denied it, of course. He said he would offer us free drinks. At that point I didn't want to stay because I felt the management was lax and I had no clue what else might happen there and they didn't seem to have control over their employees(obviously). I told him(as I was pointing at him) I wanted my money back for the drinks and cover charge and I wanted an apology from the bartender for her inexcusable behavior. He refused, which infuriated even more because at this point I felt like a helpless victim with no where to turn. the manager had his bouncers put me out because I wouldn't stop pointing in his face. If that was demeaning to him then how does he think I felt having food thrown at me.
I say BEWARE of this establishment.Management SHAME!! They don't protect you.
Pros: Awesome music versatility, the ambience is inviting, great dancers, never had a problem until now with bartenders, they have always ventured me into new drinks in the past.
Cons: Tall thin, no booty brunnette has issues/BEWARE, Poor management mediator/liason, present Manager, Andrew is thumbs down Dude
