I went to Tasca for the second time in a two years last Monday, and I did not enjoy my meal either trip. I tried 5-6 different plates and I would have to say I only enjoyed one of them- the calamari. I don't really understand how some people can give raving reviews about this place... they certainly have not tried some of the finer tapas establishments Boston has to offer (particularly Taberna de Haro) which are superior in taste and quality of food. I felt like most of the food was something I could have made with meat, bread, and various Heinz products (I'm a pretty average cook). The cost was very low, which is great, but it's not low enough for me to come back to this place.
Pros: It does have a good ambiance inside, but that is the only pro
Cons: Food was not up to par and service was average.
