Although I am not the biggest fan of Cuban food, I make an excepton for the fare at la Carreta.\r
The palomilla is always fresh and cooked to my liking (which is medium rare). I order it with cooked onions, rice and black beans. The rice is perfectly seasoned as are the black beans. Freshness permeates throughout. The tostones are also excellent -not greasy and very fresh. To finish off the meal, I order the cream cheese flan ("Flan de Queso) -handsdown the BEST flan ever! Don't forget to end the meal with a cuban coffee. Truly a satisying dining experience.
