I was at that party as well, and the door was a huge hassle. The bouncers seemed to think they were little gods. I'm willing to put up with that kind of attitude sometimes to get into a really good Hollywood club, but at a sushi restaurant? I did like the decor, and can't comment on the drinks (stuck with wine), but the place was crowded and doesn't have the best floor-plan, and I haven't talked to anyone who really loved the venue as a party spot. It might be a great restaurant, I don't know. Also, does it seem a little suspicious that the second there's a bad review about the bouncers, suddenly two five-star reviews pop up saying how great the party was and how friendly the doormen are? You have to wonder which employee from Nobu wrote those.
Pros: Decor, decent wine list
Cons: Door, floor-plan, bad party spot
