I'm originally from NY and I when looking for a salon, I decided to try out Dave at Champion based on the reviews I read online. What a bunch of crock. Dave absolutely does not know what he is doing. First gave me a bad haircut, didn't listen to anything I said, but he seems very nice and had offered that if I didn't like it once I washed it myself I could come back for a touch up. So I did just that, what a mistake on my part!!! He totally buchered my hair. I don't think I've ever had a more unflattering haircut for my face. I wanted the long in front and short in back that's in fashion now, and instead he gave me a little mushroom cut!!! This haircut makes me look like a boy. I could have done a better job cutting it myself at home (which I've done previously) and saved myself the $100 I ended up spending with tips. My advice is stay away from Dave. He seems to have a real nice personality but truly does not know what he is doing!!!!
Pros: Cake and coffee is available if that's your cup of tea!
Cons: The place looks dingy, like it's falling apart. Junky salon.
