Gonzales floors sand & sealed our new wood floor upstairs & landing on stairs 12/15/08 . Before he started,we went upstairs with him and he commented how perfect the floor was. \r
We told them not to use the inside water to clean because it is reverse osmosis & could ruin our machine if used down low.They could use the water well outside. We found out they washed out their supplies in our upstairs bathroom using 200 gallons of the reverse osmosis water- holding tank was down to less than 5 gallons when we saw it -turned it off just in time.\r
They told us we could see the floor between the 2nd and 3rd coat but did not let us see it. They said they finished & needed the check .They said we couldn""t walk to it for 30 minutes- it would ruin the floor. \r
I gave them a check waited to see the floor. There was a big gouge 8"" long, 1/4 inch deep & over 1/4 inch wide.&2 round gouges, are swirls on the landing & big drops of the sealer accross one board for 18'. \r
I called Mr Gonzales and asked him to repair the damage he caused 12 16,2008 and talked to him about the cost of the water he used. HE SAID HE WOUlD NOT.\r
I called the bank & told them the story - they said to stop payment on the check.\r
I got a threatning call from him on Christmas eve . I told him that I would be happy to pay him if he would repair the damage he caused. He said"" You have not seen damage yet- you will see what damage is "".He said he was not fixing anything. He said he knew we had a place in Aransas Pass that would be taken care of. The conversation was taped.\r
I called the sheriff on Christmas eve to give him all the information. The sheriff put an officer on it right away and is checking our property on a regular baises.\r
We have pictures of the damage to the floor.\r
Mr. Gonzales ruined our Christmas with his threats to damage our property. I had my elderly parents and entire family with me and they were all upset and scared. \r
I see he has other complaints on yahoo as well.\r
