Dr. Bain was the first pediatric dentist we ever used, starting 6 years ago. We trusted his judgment on whether to use sedation and that our kids were difficult to work with. When we chose not to sedate our 6yo and were not pleased with Dr. Bain's attitude about it we tried a different pediatric dentist. The other dentist had more tools to work with children and much more patience. My ""difficult"" child was able to get 2 fillings and 4 sealants with no sedation at all, not even nitrous, and received many compliments on being easy to work with. We will not be going back to Dr. Bain. His actual work is fine but his hands-on with children is not satisfactory.
Pros: the office is nice, great location
Cons: doesn't take time with parents or patients, rough handling of kids
