I really didn't know what to expect when I made the reservation for my husband's birthday. I had never been to an interactive Mystery Dinner before. I thought it might be uncomfortable and they might ask my shy husband to do something he wasn't comfortable with. What did ""Interactive"" mean? After talking to Muriel Minot (she answered the phone when I called) I was very comfortable about my decision. She was so lovely to talk to, I felt like I had known her for years. She told me that they ask people ahead of time if they want to participate or not and they pick people that would be comfortable doing so. \r
The Hotel is located right on the waterfront in Marina Del Rey, a very romantic setting with views of sailboats and other boats in a row at dock. The food was really good, I had Salmon and my husband had the Pasta (he's vegetarian) and we both enjoyed a very yummy Chocolate dessert.\r
The best part was the quality of the entertainment! I felt like we were at the best seats in the house at a Broadway Show! Great music, great voices and a lot of laughs! First Class all the way!\r
What did my husband have to do in the end? Just smile and enjoy the applause when his birthday was mentioned.........What a great evening!
Pros: Thumbs way up!
