What a wonderful surprise this place was. The sushi, served at the bar by a friendly sushi chef from Osaka, is absolutely superb. Perfect pieces of fresh fish, expertly cut, over excellently prepared rice. We ordered the special Aji, which was served three ways, sashimi, sushi, and crisp fried. It was outstanding. We also ordered uni, negitoro roll, salmon, hamachi, and a bunch of other things. Everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. I think the quality of the sushi here is comparable to some of the best sushi places in NYC and LA. If you are really into sushi and you happen to be in Cville, this is your place.
