Stay away from Desoto Eye Care, especially Dr Schaeffer. The wait is long, the waiting room is very crowded, and the customer service is poor. I accompanied my father on his visits when he had his eye surgery. Schaeffer always had an arrogant attitude. When my father would explain his eye problems, Schaeffer would act as if he didn't believe him. Post surgery, my father complained that something was still in his eye. Schaeffer said it must be your imagination. Turns out, a stitch was left in his eye. There have been billing errors as well. The staff screwed up my wife's insurance billing for her contacts, which effected other family members. Her contacts took forever to receive, and the office never called.
