I, too am shocked by the reviews of Dr. Fili. I moved to the Keys from Arkansas and was seeing a general practice doctor here in the Keys. My A1C went from 6.8 to 8.1, so I decided to go to Miami for a specialists. The first appointment, I met with Dr. Anchia, who spent over one hour with me. I am not your typical diabetic as I neither fit into Type 1 or Type 2. Steps were taken immediately to get my sugar under control. My next appointment was with Dr. Fili. He did not ""rush through"" the appointmnet as many doctors do. He was cordial, polite and seemed genuinely interested in me and my condition. Please note, not in a ""womanizer"" type interest. I have had correspondence both on the phone and through e-mail. As I live two and half hours from the office, they are most accommodating in scheduling appointments. My A1C is now 6.4 and my sugar firmly under control. I am grateful to have found this office and would recommend him and Dr. Anchia to anyone who wants to get better.
