I just moved to the area and had planned on going to the Subway next door to grab dinner for my boyfriend & I while we were working on remodeling the house. The intense smell of garlic lured me in to Massino's instead. The menu looked great, the place appeared to resemble a New York style corner pizzaria and I was thinking how great this was that I live so close to a place like this! I got 2 strombolis to go. I got home just a few minutes later and my boyfriend & I dug in! It was so very greasy, to the point where I didn't feel so good after eating it. The meat inside was rubbery and what about that intense garlic smell that lured me in to the store? Where was that flavor in the food? When I got home, I had hung their menu on our fridge for future reference. It has since been replaced by the local Pudge Bro's menu. I wanted to give Massino's another chance, however I have not been able to bring myself to do so in fear of rubbery meat and so much sickening grease.
Pros: The atmosphere of the restaurant, the garlic smell, the friendly staff
Cons: Food so greasy it's sickening, meat is rubbery
