Tina/HSBC unprofessional, rude, nasty representative. I have an online savings w/them I plan on closing because of her. I live in a condex (duplex separate owners) in NH. Next door unit is owned by HSBC. Their pipes burst on their 2nd floor 1/19 and the Fire Department had to be called. The FD turned the water & power off; because the water got into their electrical fixtures and it is a safety hazard. I was aware of the disaster w/n a 20 minute period because I had been up & down to my basement. I took charge immediately. Had I not the damage would have been even more extensive. FD said power cannot be restored until electrical wires replaced & inspected. We share a well; water holding tank & pump power is on their side. I had to have an electrician run a temporary line to my electrical panel & a plumber cap off their side & repair my flex vent that broke in half from the water SO that I could have water on my side. I had also arranged to have a contractor run a heat tape around the incoming well pipe and insulate pipe & tank as they have no heat & freezing would be devastating. Tina/HSBC Rep basically said mind your own business ""Don't have anyone insulate..you take care of you side we'll take care of ours"" ""Why should we pay for your electrician (duh necessary because their pipe burst) we're turning off the electricity anyway"" I told her they can't do that I'm dependent on them and the FD won't allow a permanent line on my side for the pump as it has to be on the side w/the holding tank. She replied ""you'll just have to get your own well dug (well is on my property not theirs) I'm 62 & she is the rudest, nastiest, most unprofessional person I've run across in decades. Looks like I'll need an attorney. She treated me like an enemy. I'm not their enemy. I'm their neighbor and saved their unit from further destruction
