My grandmother went to Newington Health Care after she had her knee surgery. The Rehabilitation Team was FANTASTIC! They kept us informed every step of the way, along with the Social Services Department. The food was really good (for institutional food) and the building is beauitful. Although the nursing staff on the short term unit was a little short once with us, clinically, they were brilliant. I LOVED THIS PLACE FOR HER!!! EXCELLENT JOB!!!
Pros: Beautiful building, room, clean place, good food, treated Grammie well.
Cons: Short term rehab wing staff seemed angrey with each other a lot but were always nice to us!
