I have been going in here for about 2-3 years and food is awesome! I LOVE the shumai and the maki rolls - i LIVE for going here on my days off, but i have to comment on the wait staff and management. I have had it with the way the place is run. Every time i go in there on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday etc the place is FREEZING in the winter. They do not turn the heat on in the place. I don't know if they are too cheap to turn the heat on but if i go in to spend 100 dollars i expect to NOT freeze my but off! Tonight i went in there and ended up walking out because after 15 mins. nobody came up to wait on me!! I walked up to the women who had seated us and i said ""we have been waiting for over 15 mins."" and nobody came up to us"" and she said "" oh so sorry"" but i said "" im sorry but im leaving""... and i left. If you're reading this taste of tokyo, please change the way you operate your business. Please TURN the heat on during your hours of operation. if i go in for 100 dollar sushi bill on Saturday at 2 pm i expect to have a temperature of at least 68 degrees (not 51 degrees) and this is no joke. They refuse to turn the heat on.
