After searching hi and lo and receiving several estimates for hardwood floors, my husband and I decided to go with J & S because they offered a very competitive price for the same product we saw at Expo and other hardwood floor stores. We chose a pre-finished maple wood floor, 4 inch planks in a color called Sunset Maple. The installation took 3 days for our entire home, except the bedrooms and bathrooms. This included the kitchen, living and dining rooms, stairs and upstairs hallways. The installation team was very professional and did an excellent job. I have absolutely zero complaints about the installation, and this is unusual because I am one of the pickiest, most detail-oriented people you will find. The floors are stunning, gorgeous. We've had them for three years now and they still look amazing. The job was $14,000 total, nearly half the price of other contractors we got estimates from. It was a great investment.
