I called them to send someone to clean my 3BR apartment. It was fairly last minute, and I didn't expect them to accommodate me. Surprisingly, they did. Or, rather, I thought they did, by saying they would send someone. She was supposed to arrive between 2-2:30. By 3:30, with no sign of her, I called the company. They kept me on hold for about 20 minutes, trying to figure out where she was. When they got back on the phone, they told me she was at another job, and would probably be another 1-2 hours. At this point it was 4pm, the day before I was having my mother-in-law in from out of town, and I was out of options in terms of using another service. Since they had me over a barrel, I asked if they would give me any sort of discount for the maid being 3 hours late, and they refused. The manager was incredibly rude and acted like he didn't need my business (he about said as much) or care if I shared my poor opinion of his company with anyone, since they were big enough that they'd survive. He refused any discount, other than NOT charging me if I decided to cancel.
Cons: Overworked staff, impossibly awful customer service
