As the maid of honor, my bride and I started out at Mockingbird Bridal. I will avoid being derogatory, but in the middle of our time there, I called StarDust and made an appointment. I didn't know anything about the place, but knew they had the kind of dresses we were looking for, so I figured we should give it a try. First, they were happy to get us in on the same day. We arrived and were amazed by the size of the place! It is huge, and absolutely gorgeous. The bridesmaid dresses and invitations were downstairs, and they had a great selection of both. Once our consultant was ready we were called upstairs. We were absolutely enchanted with it! All of the dresses are on display for you to browse, but in a very nice way (similar to the Saks bridal salon at the Galleria). We were happy not to be shoving our way through dresses crammed in plastic bags as we had to do elsewhere. Our consultant took us around and explained each designer, their styles, and price ranges. She then followed us as we selected dresses to try on. She made good suggestions as to where we should look as well. (Although their prices go up to $10,000, do not be discouraged! We found many gorgeous dresses under $2,000 and were still treated like royalty on our small budget.) Our consultant took her time, was knowledgeable without being forceful, sweet without being insincere, and was a huge help. We cherished our experience at StarDust and know that you will too!!
