I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience with Craven Landscaping, but the way you are ranting it sounds like you are one of those sterotypical Carmelites that don't like to pay for things and like to get things for free. First of all...didn't you get a quote from Craven before you had them step foot in your yard? I think you just have no business sense or just wanted free shrubbery.
