When I was a boy in Phoenix in the 40s and 50s, my grandpa and I used to go to Coronado Park to collect pine cones. We were of the opinion that Coronado had the freshest, healthiest, and fattest pine cones.
I left the Valley in 1989 and I hope the pine cones are still the best.
