I am not much into water parks, but my kids are. So like a few other people, I thought I would save the 3+ hour trip to the Dells and try this place. We went the first weekend they were open. Mistake. The place was not ready to open. You name it, there were problems. But I won't dwell on those. I guess I can forgive some rough spots in any start up. So we went back in August. Huge Mistake.
Nothing had gotten better. The place is still horribly mismanaged, there were lines and waits everywhere, even when there were no crowds. There were little hidden fees and costs all over. And most unforgiveably given the cost to stay there, the staff was unbelievably rude or, at best, apathetic. What the other reviewer said about the 'lifeguards' was dead on. These obnoxious little twerps constantly blew their silly little whistles at everyone for everything. And when I went to complain to management finally about a comment one of them had made to my 6 year old that I felt crossed the line, their manager immediately began to defend them loudly, without even bothering to hear what I had to say first.
Best way to sum up how bad it is: we left early, and my waterpark-crazy kids didn't say word one to complain about that fact.
We won't be going back. Ever.
