Hudson Tavern looks nice from the outside but once inside for drinks after 10pm, one is faced with a bartending staff right out the Third Reich. Skully, the new drunken youngblood, has no idea how to make drinks properly and is very bad at giving the correct change. I also noticed the bartenders were as drunk as the Patrons, and the bathroom is filthy. The food is mediocre as is the atmosphere. Hudson Tavern Bartending Staff for the most part needs lessons about how to treat customers. Another one of the Bartenders, bald guy, is a raving queen and was hitting on men all night. I felt very uncomfortable as did my other friends as this famboyant individual competed for our affection. The place is a zoo in uptown Hoboken. Highly recommended would be ANY other bar in the uptown area except for Hudson Tavern, even LUA. I wish for it's demise quite frequently after my weekend's experiences at this zoo. Purely unprofessional imho, and on it's way down hopefully sooner then later. Go River Dell GO!!!!
